So, I signed up to volunteer for Barak Obama. I drove 115 miles each way to see him speak in Battle Creek on Sunday, and then got up early Monday and waited in line for several hours to see him speak at Hart Plaza (Downtown Detroit). It was worth it. I believe he truly can be the catalyst for change in this country.
I can't wait to see what they want me to do. Door to door, registering voters... I don't care. I saw a t-shirt that convinced me this is the way to make things happen. It said "We are the people we've been waiting for".
It's true. If you want something done, you should do it yourself.
